What is ‘Telemedicine’?

Telemedicine, a visit also known as “Tele-Allergist,” is a service that is offered to existing, as well as new patients, to see the allergist from the comfort and safety of their home without the wait or delay and without the risk of any exposure. This service gives patients access to a Board-Certified Allergist through a secure website that can be accessed via computer, tablet, or mobile device.  Patients receive full benefits from their virtual appointment, complete with diagnosis, personalized treatment plans, and prescriptions sent to any pharmacy of their choice. (Please Note: Patients must have the pharmacy name, number and location on hand so it can be provided to the doctor at the time of the visit). 

Telemedicine visits are subject to the same standard of care as those in office visits and we take patient confidentiality very seriously. Our Allergy and Asthma Practice adheres to patient regulation requirements and HIPPA regulations.
